Using the resources around us this day in the woods will give you the opportunity to master new skills and enjoy a sense of achievement. There is so much you can do in the woods from making your own basket or willow shape, wood carving, safe tool use and fire lighting. All activities can be adapted to suit different age groups, introducing new techniques in a safe and supportive environment.

Forest School is an ethos as well as an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem delivered through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. At Great Scott! our qualified practitioners carefully facilitate programmes which are uniquely tailored to the needs of the individuals within the group. The aim is to build on participants' self-esteem, confidence, independence and creativity. Innovative evaluation techniques are used to enable you to keep track of your group’s goals and outcomes….plus a muck about in the woods!
